She is the main reason why so many law makers never wanted it made available over the counter. Congratulations for continuing the stereotype, it does wonders for the pro-choice cause.
Now, of course I do not agree with the use of Plan B as birth control... it simply is stupid to depend on something designed for emergency use as a day in and day out birth control. Nothing shocking about that.
But the writer Cat talks about why she has made the choices to use Plan B as her method of birth control... because of course birth control pills are going to make you fat. For real.
"2) Birth control pills. NO. They will make me fat; they will make me "spot" (another thing I squeamishly just DON'T LIKE TALKING ABOUT; don't worry, though, everyone else who works here does); they will give me acne; and quite frankly, they will NOT prevent me from getting pregnant! I know this because IT HAPPENED TO ME™."
Its ok though, because that is a genuine reason to continue to put yourself at risk for pregnancy, disease, and of course all the risk factors Plan B has right? Vanity over healthy... always a smart move. NOT
It gets better! Now we take on the age old condom!
4) Condoms. Nope! As if. I don't know. I don't sleep with that many people and so I just don't do condoms! ARG I HATE TALKING ABOUT MY SEX LIFE; LET'S END THIS.
Oh, well I hope you know where they have been, because having sex ONE time, with ONE person can make you ONE person with HIV. Stupid.
With all the information out there to prevent pregnancy, and all the many, many, MANY options available to women today, her actions are nothing short of irresponsible, and stupid.
Stupid stupid stupid!
What kind of writer would advocate such dangerous choices, and brag about them online? I just don't get it! And what kind of message is this going to teach the next generation which is slowly becoming sexually active.
Its ok girls! Go at it! Don't protect yourselves! Get HIV! Because you think it will never happen to you right?
FAIL!
