Mind Your Own Kids?

Today is brought to you by my soap box. So let me take it out of storage because I haven't been up on it for a while.
Dust it off and step up.

I used to be a stay-at-home-mom. I didn't really do anything other than watch my kids, and keep house. I was frequently bored, and guilty of the charge I am about to accuse other stay-at-home-moms of. I am woman enough to own it. Why? Because since becoming a mother, and of course becoming a working mother, I can certainly say I have matured. Isn't that part of life? I mean, I still am only 26. I will continue to grow, mature, and change my mind in life. It is part of life!

Benefits of Being a Work at Home Mom!

A new VLOG post because I am having such a good time making them with the kids.  Yesterday we headed out to the park right down the street from my parents home, where I grew up, and played as a child. I think there is something magical about parents and children being able to share those kind of simple bonds.

While it may not be the same playground, twenty years ago I ran around just like they were in the same spot.  Score!

Enjoy!

Being a Mom is Enough

Before I actually classified my writing as really working from homepeople would always ask me “What do you do?”
The reply was always really the same, and simple… “I am a Mom”
Then I would sit on the edge of my seat waiting for the typical ignorant response of… “That’s it?”
Um… That’s it?  Don’t you mean… That’s awesome?
Being a mother has had to be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs I have taken on in my life. In the past I have done a lot from being a unit clerk in a hospital, to working in a doctors office… but motherhood is by far so much better.
