I never really put much thought into birthday parties for our kids until I met Pinterest, and of course my almost four-year-old started making friends who he will need to invite to his birthday party this year.
It has always been family, cake, maybe a little dinner, and overall simple. But now that he is getting older I feel like there needs to be a wow factor to it. He is going to start remembering his birthday parties, and why not make the memories as cool as I possibly can, right?
