Tommee Tippee Launch Party

Last Thursday I made the trip into New York City with Addison in tow for the Tommee Tippee launch party for their new Closer to Nature baby monitor line.

As most of you know, up until now Tommee Tippee has been mostly bottles, pacifiers, zippy cups, and of course their great line of toddler bowls, and accessories.  All that we use in our house.

I was invited back over the summer, and the fantastic rep that works with them, Christina, virtually did everything in her power to get me there, and I am so extremely grateful, and happy I was able to make it.  And of course finally meet Christina in person!

Among some of the awesome developments I was able to learn about in their open house style party were the new monitor of course... Which we have been using in our nursery since I am slowly trying to get Addie sleeping in her own crib.  The new monitor has a sensor pad you put under the crib mattress which connects to an alarm. Almost like those angel care monitors that help to warn parents if your baby isn't breathing, and there is no movement.

Yes!  This monitor can sense breathing/movement all the way through the mattress in your crib!  One afternoon I had Addie playing in her crib with the monitor on, and when I took her out of her crib I forgot to turn it off. Well 20 seconds later the alarm was sounding.   It is genius and of course just one of those products you must have if you worry about SIDS.

They are also launching a new double electric breast pump. Right now they only offer a single electric breast pump, so it is going to be a great opportunity for those women who already love their pump, but need a double!

I also got to meet a couple great women, not just from the PR agency, and Tommee Tippee but also from other parenting publications. It is always great to meet other writers who you read, and put a face to the name!

Now for some pictures!

The new Explora Line!

The table was set with all kinds of Explora goodies!

I hate this picture of me but it shows Addie hanging out, and finally meeting Christina!
