Finally I went out and bought one. Since I first saw the idea, I thought it was genius. The book itself is so cute, and it is a great way to helping to kids how Santa really knows that they are being naughty or nice.
Because I have been so inspired by the whole Elf on the Shelf idea, I am going to do 30 days of Elf on the Shelf right here on my site.
It is going to be one picture a day starting the day after Thanksgiving... next Friday the 25th, till Christmas eve. Because if you have read the book, you know that Elf goes back with Santa... kinda of.
This will be of course in between my regular posts as well.
There are simple rules when it comes to Elf on the Shelf:
- Your Elf needs a name - My kids picked the name Bouncy
- The kids cannot touch Elf - He will lose his Christmas magic!
- Be creative!
