Our First Parent's Night at School

My oldest son started school this fall. It is his first year, and he loves it.   Pre-School is probably the whole reason I have sanity left with three kids ranging from almost 4 to 5 months old.

Anywho!

My husband and I had our first parent's night this past week. We are new to the whole school parent thing since he has only been in school for roughly two months now.

We got to see some of the cool stuff Camden has been working on, but the most hysterical part of it all was the little survey the kids did for their parents.

It was a question and answer sheet, almost like a quiz about us.  Things like our age, and names. Stuff kids typically know about their parents. And our three year old gave some of the most hysterical answers, keeping directly in line with his wise guy personality.

When asked Mommy's name he replied : Danielle
But when it came to Daddy... well Daddy's name is Daddy. HA!

When asked how old Mommy is... he replied : Three in December
Which he turned this year... and will be four this coming December.  I nearly peed my pants when I read that.

When asked Daddy's favorite food he replied : Chicken
Which apparently all 10 kids in Camden's class said as well. Monkey see, monkey do right?

I must say, it was really a special day for us. A whole new chapter opening, and new laughs coming. Nothing warms your heart more than seeing something your child made, or wrote about you. Or even advancing in their coloring or writing skills.

Parenthood fucking rocks!
