Makin' Baby Food: Baby Brezza Giveaway

Since Addie is now only a few short days away from six months old, I decided it was time to start making our own baby food. Yup, I am taking the super crunchy route with Addie, and I am sticking with it. First it was the breastfeeding, then the cloth diapers, and now it is making her own food. Well, I am not sure if it is crunchy, but it sure is cheap!

Now you can win a Baby Brezza of your own to make your own baby food!

When I went to SheStreams in NYC, one of their sponsors was Baby Brezza. Since I ended up being the only one there with a baby, the conference head actually stopped me in the hallway and gave me a Baby Brezza to review, and of course give one away to a lucky one of my readers. I was dumbfounded, and in love all at the same time.

Today I started the process by making butternut squash for Addison, and reviewing this fancy gadget that not only purees the baby food, but actually steams, and cooks it before turning it into baby food mush!  How cool is that?   I think that is the biggest highlight of the baby brezza.

First I chopped up the squash into small 1/4 inch pieces because the instructions for the baby brezza recommend that as the best size for cooking and pureeing.

I set the steamer for 20 minutes, and then once the timer went off I held down the blend button which turned the super soft squash into the perfect baby food mix for Addie.

There is also an option on the Baby Brezza where you can have the fruit or veggie automatically blend once it is done cooking.   How awesome is that?
The consistency was perfect, and of course the best part of the amount the baby brezza holds?  It was just enough to fit into the ice cube trays I recently bought for freezing baby food.

Doesn't that squishy squash mix look yummy?
As she grows, and our baby food starts to get a little more brave I am going to not only start writing an eBook which will be available for cheap on my site, but I will also post a couple recipes here and there right here on my site!

Ikea makes amazing and cheap ice trays that you can freeze your baby food in, so that you can of course throw it into a zip lock bag and keep it in the freezer to make it easy to just defrost and of course feed your little one!  Easy pleasey!

So now how can you win?   Lots of ways!

The Baby Brezza was provided to me free of charge to review, I was not compensated in any way for this review. All opinions, and comments are 100% mine.
