"Am I going to school in the morning?"
75 times a day. He just started pre-school the second week of September, so it has become something he loves to do, and is excited for. I mean, when you are that young school really is exciting.
When I saw this Melissa & Doug product in Education Works in the mall, I jumped on it because I knew it was perfect for my plans for teaching him!
I got the calendar all set up, and hung... then I noticed it...
The number 5 was missing.
No kids had walked off with it, it was just never in the packaging. Totally understandable since there are so many small parts in the calendar set itself.
So I put in a short and to the point e-mail to the Melissa & Doug's customer service explaining my issue, and simply requesting a new number 5. Simple enough right? I mean, I really didn't want to pack it all up and bring it back to the store. My oldest would have been heart broken over returning his calendar on top of it.
Well Monday morning I got an e-mail back from the company asking me to call their customer service number, and they could help me out.
I called and talked to a wonderful woman. I explained the e-mail, and issue. She looked and found a number 5, and was placing it into an envelope to mail when she asked me my address.
As she wrote it down she realized we lived in the same town about a quarter of a mile away from each other, and offered to just drop it off. She couldn't see the sense in actually putting it into the mail. I mean really, it was kind of silly in reality.
Two big thumbs up to Melissa & Doug's customer service, and company as a whole. Awesome products, and amazing employees who go above and beyond!
