She Streams Yo!

She Streams... For us social media geeks!
So a couple months ago I looked into going to the She Streams conference.  It is basically for all social media geeks like myself. Those who are looking to learn more, expand their knowledge, and of course have a grand time with other bloggers, and social media lovers.

At the time I looked into it, it simply wasn't affordable, the new baby still has kind of put a damper on the bank account.  I know some of you out there can totally relate right?

And then yesterday in an amazing aligning of the universe, all the good karma I have put out came full circle and I found a way to actually go to She Streams.  Heck ya yo!

Only problem?  Because of everything going on in my personal life (sister in hospice, husband at a new job with new hours...) I am struggling to secure childcare for my two boys on Friday.  At least the type of childcare I need.  Of course because it is last minute!

Of course my husband was less than impressed at yet another last minute plan of mine, but who ever expects for plans to change like this right?

Anyway!

Saturday I will be in the city for all the fun, equipped with my Stokke Xplory, a SkipHop diaper bag disguised as a business bag, and my little nursling Addison.   Oh, and probably an ERGO Baby Carrier as well.   All must have's for a solo trip into New York City right?

My day on Saturday will consist of registration, expo time, and all of the following sessions.
  • Branding Beyond Blogging
  • Taking Your Brand Mobile
  • Live From Your Laptop: Creating Your Own Live Online Show  (Excited to hear Kelly Loubet)
  • Creating the Perfect Pitch
  • Looking Good For The Camera  (Happy to see Audrey McClelland again!)
After all that, I will hit up the Disney Red Carpet party, and start to head home.  It is a long day with a 4 month old baby, but she better get used to all these conferences because it probably won't be her last!

I am scared being solo with Addison in the city, but I think that just comes with my self conscious nature.  It is nothing new, no matter where I am with the kids solo, I always feel like everyone is staring at me.

But I am excited for this opportunity, and adventure.  Who wouldn't be?

So keep an eye out for us!

So who is heading out to She Streams too?

Comment below if you want to hook up on Saturday sometime!
