Strengthening Your Pelvic Floor

After two c-sections with my older two sons I had a lot of pelvic floor problems, and I made no secret of it. In fact a lot of women who have cesarean sections go through a great deal of female related pain in the months, and years postpartum.

When Intimina contacted me to write a post about their new Laselle kegel exercisers I jumped on the chance because of my own personal experience with the pain and issues I had.

This is nothing new, or even rare for women who have given birth in one shape or form. Which is why I wanted to share this great pelvic floor strengthening product, one of the best parts of the Laselle products is they are available at CVS online!

The Kegel Exercisers retail for $12.95 here in the US.

They really are pretty simple, and without going into detail they are different weights to help with different strength kegel exercises.

From the Laselle site:

Worn discreetly inside during daily activities, they give you the most complete intimate workout, helping you to locate your PC muscles (pelvic floor muscles) and providing a solid object for you to flex around for more effective strengthening. Within each exerciser is a weighted ball that responds to your body’s movements, causing gentle kinetic vibrations to help prompt your pelvic floor muscles to contract and relax as you walk around.

Meaning you really strengthen your pelvic floor anywhere, anytime, and without anyone knowing. Because of course subjects like kegels are still so taboo!  Even though they shouldn't be!

Do you practice your kegels or use a product like this to help strengthen your pelvic floor?
